Hello there! If you're here, that means you've found my request for an exchange I've signed up to! Writing a separate letter for every exchange when I usually copy/paste the intro/my likes and such every time has gotten a little tiring, so this is just going to cover everything and then I'm going to link to it from the letter I link for each exchange.

General information:

About likes in general: I usually give a summary of my likes in the request, but I'll go into detail here! To start: I LOVE VAMPIRES!!!! They're my special interest. If you write a fic about vampires for me (whether it's an AU or if they're vampires in canon) I will go crazy over it. I also love love love the vibes of gothic and cosmic horror. They scratch my brain in just the right way. There's a mystique around cosmic horror. I love the rituals, the tenebrosity of it. Gothic horror also does tension really well, which I love, and I'm a fan of gothic architecture and environments. Body horror (as long as it doesn't have my DNWs) is one of my favorite things to receive in a request.

About writing likes:I love receiving strange and unorthodox fanfics. These can be games, documents, scrap-books, whatever! I especially adore clever use of CSS and HTML. As for just regular writing, I do love mysteries and casefic, because it's always so satisfying to see the characters put together the puzzle pieces as a team and to find all sorts of secrets. I also love crackfic taken seriously!!! I read a Dracula x Barbie piece and I loved it so much. If you have a silly idea, please go for it, and put your heart and soul into it. I also like epistolary works! For example, think Dracula (novel 1897) or the Tomb Colonies area in Fallen London. It's the only situation in which I prefer first person, as first person usually squicks me out.

About ships:I think I usually mention the ships I like in my requests or in my letters, but please assume gen if I don't mention any ships! I'll always take a genfic, but I do like certain ships a lot too. (Plague Doctor/Grave Robber is a favorite if we match on DD) I'm also a fan of toxic yuri/yaoi ships. (more on that later.)

About endings: I'm happy with all kinds of endings! I love happy endings, tragic endings, fics that expand on bad endings of games, ambiguous endings, all of them! As long as it's not an "everyone dies at the end" kind of fic. I like bad endings to have weight and meaning, and it's hard to do that if everyone is dead. But good endings are also welcomed!

About character dynamics: I love genfics! Teams of characters working together and being competent. Family, found or not. A spy and their handler. A fledgeling vampire and their sire. There's so many I like that I can't list them all! I think shipfics are fine too; I think what I'd like to receive depends on the fandom, so keep an eye on any prompts. I really dig toxic yuri/yaoi with the right characters, and I don't mind certain relationships being very toxic (for example, with Darkest Dungeon, Grave Robber/Countess should probably not be very healthy). You can find more on that later down.

About romance/smut: I'm fine with romance, but generally I prefer to avoid smut. I'm fine if sex is implied off-screen, or if a fade-to-black takes place. As for my likes, here's a list of things I like to see when it comes to romance: nonsexual intimacy, quality time, low-burning candlelight, gentle touches, neck kisses, sharing a meal/drink, dressing up nicely for a partner, lingerie, low-light bars, drinking/moderate substance use together, focus more on the lead-up/foreplay of an intimate encounter, (such as movement onto a surface, removing garments, etc) with a fade to black before of any explicit sex occurs. I'm not one for graphic descriptions of physical acts. Metaphor and non-literal descriptions are your best friend, to be honest.

About toxic romance: I love toxic yuri/yaoi! (this also could include het but you gotta make it FEEL yaoi/yuri yknow?) When it comes to my likes, it's basically all of the previous romance tropes, face-touching/grabbing (violent or gentle/inspecting is fine), possessiveness, stalker/yandere, coercion, manipulation, dominance/obedience, and when Character A cannot refuse an order from Character B by supernatural compulsion. For the face touching, there's something a certain faction does in Fallen London where they just kind of casually inspect the player character's face like it's a cut of meat as they're talking to them, which I can't get enough of! It's such a subtle power display.

If you want specifics about my preferences regarding smut, click this sentence.
I'm comfortable up to and including disrobing. Tasteful/artistic nudity is fine, but I do not want detailed descriptions of genitalia in writing and explicit depictions of aroused genitalia. At most, I am fine with depictions of arousal without display of genitalia (feeling heat in the groin, getting hard) but I do not want mention of fluids.

About non-consent and dubious consent: I'm fine with nonconsensual and dubiously consensual acts that are NON-SEXUAL. This includes vampire bites, most forms of violence (stabbing, hitting, etc), physical restraints, drugging, manipulation, etc. Things get a little blurry around the romance section, but generally I'm fine with nonconsensual romantic touching on the head, face, arms, hands, legs, torso, collarbone, and neck. I DO NOT want nonconsensual romantic touching on the butt, breasts, genital areas, and feet, and I DO NOT want nonconsensual kissing anywhere other than face cheek/hand. If you're wondering whether or not I'm okay with it, feel free to ask.

About other sensitive content: I'm completely fine with gore and body horror UNLESS it includes teeth horror, damage to teeth, tooth rot/decay, detailed descriptions of teeth, (fangs/sharp teeth are fine!) or violence with unorthodox weapons such as nails, staples, screws, etc. If you need clarification on what qualifies as an unorthodox weapon, please don't hesitate to ask. I really enjoy body horror, especially monstrous transformations. (ex: werewolves, Abomination Darkest Dungeon, vampire turnings, etc). Involuntary curse transformations are good too. The fear of one's body changing with no control over it is something I love to read.

About kink: I go for exclusively nonsexual content! This means I do not want characters to experience arousal from these. In fact I generally just prefer they come up in the text as a narrative element, and for it to take a focus in description as a result. I would generally prefer these not to be written as a negotiated practice for relaxation/sensation purposes as well (unless it's service submission in which case it's all good), but I won't DNW it if you want to go that path. To use some niche terminology I've seen floating around online, I prefer non-diegetic kink as opposed to diegetic. I like these as kinks: blood, injury/wounds/pain, bondage/restraints/captivity, service submission (maid and/or butler is nice), AMAB forcefem (for trans women as a form of validation, for cis men as a form of submission), cross-dressing, corsets (as bondage as well as cross-dressing), sadism, masochism, body horror/body modification, monstrous and/or animal transformations, and experimentation/mad science. I don't mind these tropes/kinks being nonconsensual or dubiously consentual within the text because I'm specifically requesting that these be written in nonsexual contexts.

Hi there! You can find my general fandom letter (contains more details on my preferences, likes, dislikes, and boundaries) here.

But first. Just going to explain what I mean by Racist/Sexist/Ableist/Orientalist White Wolf Worldbuilding. The best way to do this is to provide examples. I've already mentioned The Darkening (eugh) and the Kuei-Jin in my DNWs, but here's some more. Pretty much anything with the Black Dog name attached to it. The [Racial Slur for the Roma People] Splat. WTA's name for their cannibalistic tribe. WTA's earlier eugenics-style werewolf breeding. Changing Ways' inclusion of transphobia, antivax, anti-choice, and racial purity content. The origins of some kinds of Fomori necessitating sexual assault. That one transphobic caricature vampire that's also a Nazi. There's more but I have to stop or I'll be here all night. I would love it if you could just rename or avoid these kinds of topics. They've been making delightful progress in retconning this type of stuff in V5, so feel free to take inspiration from there. Hunter: The Parenting also hilariously retconned the Kuei-Jin (they're a LARP group based out of LA now lmao), which can also serve as inspiration for you. So in short: either change it so it's respectful of whatever content it's butchering, axe it, or make an in-world meme out of how terrible and untrue it is.

I'll go over each request I made by title and provide prompts/ideas, really anything about them.

Igavanias

Includes: Bloodstained, Castlevania: SoTN, Castlevania: Aria/Dawn

- While SoTN and Aria/Dawn do take place in the same world, I'm inclined to say they count as a crossover since the time period is so different. Send that boy backwards in time. Make him fight evil Richter!!! Let him meet Alucard when he's blonde!!

- Bloodstained and SoTN would go together so well. The time periods are similar and the aesthetics are similar as well. Since Bloodstained is a spiritual successor, I'd love to see what you could do by trying to incorporate Miriam into the Castlevania lore. Maybe something like what they did with Shanoa but to the left.

- Bloodstained and Aria/Dawn also would go great! I'd love to see what a fusion would look like, actually. Would Soma be a shardbinder, or a vampire? What kind of clothes would he wear? What would he be doing in the hellhold? Where would the rest of the Aria cast factor into this? There's so much to explore.

Eldritch Horror!!

Includes: Darkest Dungeon, Dredge, Fallen London, CAIN

- DD x Dredge: You could really go with either a fusion or a crossover here! I'd dig seeing the Hamlet on something like a Blackstone Isle situation, a further enough into the future for the right technology to have come about. Something about the dungeon tainting the sea or something. Where a lighthouse rises, the dungeon falls. What is a well if not a tower to the depths?

- DD x Fallen London: Your honor, send these fuckers to the Neath. I've done some fanart of flondon-style cameos on tumblr for Dismas and Bigby. I think if you tried to make their backstories mesh with the Neath's world it would be really neat. Maybe you could even try and include some canon characters from Flondon too! Seeing some kind of weird interaction between Neathly!Paracelsus and the Youthful Naturalist would be so silly.

- DD x CAIN: Ok, I'm going to be entirely honest. I have stolen DD characters' backstories for CAIN sessions before, and I think you should too. You can adapt some of their backstories pretty easily to the modern era, or you could just go "fuck it we ball, the hamlet is suffused with grace" and go that way.

- Dredge x Fallen London: You know Sunless Sea? You know Evolution? They're so Dredge-coded your honor. There's just... so much about the Zee that you could explore in a Dredge crossover. Is Julie a Drownie, dwelling with the Fathomking? Or something much, much worse? Would the Fisherman fashion himself a monster-hunter, eyes black with peligin? Or would the peligin eyes only belong to his reflection?

- Dredge x CAIN: Julie and the Collector is textbook Lord material. A kingdom of Black Stone and Glimmering Gems, a palace of wood and waves. Where all is well and all is loved and there is no terrible darkness in the deep to take her away. There is only the bright froth and the cool salt breeze, and a drifter holding a strange book.

- Fallen London x CAIN: This one feels a little more challenging than the others! I think CAIN as an order would stick out like a sore thumb in the Neath; their goal is containment and wiping out a stain of anomalies that would probably thrive in the Neath. So how would they fare? What would the actual agency look like?

Make your Blorbos (or mine) Kindred :D

Includes: Vampire: The Masquerade, Creator's Choice of Fandom, Any Other Fandom I've Requested in Crossworks 2025 (see list at bottom of post)

- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. PLEASE. I LOVE VTM. PLEASE MAKE YOUR BLORBOS VAMPIRES. LOOK AT THE LIST OF CLANS. ADOPT THEIR BACKSTORY AND MAKE IT ANGSTY AND VAMPIREY. PLEASE. PLEASE. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER IF YOU DO THIS ONE. (it would be nice if you could write for the fandom-blind in case I don't know your fandom, but if not that's okay!)

Reactor-Urbanshade Merger, oh God What Have They Done

Includes: Tactical Breach Wizards, Pressure (Roblox)

- I think it would be absolutely hilarious to fandom-fuse these guys. Make Pressure take place somewhere off of Samiya's coast, in the North Iassic Sea. A Reactor-Urbanshade merger would be absolutely fucked and the idea eats at my brain. Maybe Urbanshade swoops in and buys Reactor out after Rion murks Reactor's CEO, meaning that Urbanshade has more firepower (and access to craft coffin tech) than ever. Maybe this means our old gang has to get back together to stop Urbanshade from iterating on the craft coffin design. Maybe it means you introduce some new characters from the world of Tactical Breach Wizards and have them infiltrate the Blacksite. Go wild!

- From a different, non-post canon perspective: What would happen if Banks like *actually* got tried and arrested? What would happen if she went to jail and had escape put right in front of her hands? Would she take it? Could the Necromedic survive the Blacksite? I'd love to find out :)

- Alternatively, post-game... Send Liv Kennedy to the Blacksite?????? I need to see her get shot to death by painter

Solve the Mystery (okay, there MIGHT be ghosts involved)

Put your Blorbos (or mine) in Fallen London :D

Includes: Creator's Choice of Fandom, Fallen London, Any Other Fandom I've Requested in Crossworks 2025 (see list at bottom of post)

- OKAY I WOULD ALSO LOVE YOU FOREVER IF YOU DID THIS ONE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE FALLEN LONDON'S SETTING AND I WOULD DIE TO SEE LITERALLY ANYTHING JUST. TAKING PLACE IN FALLEN LONDON. PLEASE. THE LORE IS SO COOL I BEG YOU. (it would be nice if you could write for the fandom-blind in case I don't know your fandom, but if not that's okay!)

Wizards!!!

Includes: Norfolk Wizard Game, Tactical Breach Wizards

- I think their technology eras are about the same! There's also a really neat parallel between them, in that TBW has 'unlocking' and NWG has 'awakening'. The only issue I think would be the meshing of a world where being a wizard is as fine and normal as being a plumber, and a world where the hidden potential of humanity is hidden by a clandestine alliance. That raises a lot of questions, which I think would be really fun to answer! How would Paradox affect the TBW wizards? What would the Technocracy think about the TBW Wizards? These are all really thoughts for a true 'crossover' type crossover, but I still think they're worth considering either way.

- For something like a fusion, how would the non-normalcy of wizardry affect the TBW characters' personal narratives? Being a Navy Seer isn't something you can do in the regular military. Would the Technocracy have been after Banks instead of the DSR? ...Can dogs still get magic?

- There's some interesting threads between the Chapel suppression of magic as innate and the existence and intent of the Technocracy. Maybe Dall and Marvolo could understand each other from that perspective.

- I think Banks and Parker would kind of understand each other; Each of them prizes something about themself over all. For Banks, it's doing things that only she can do. For Parker, it's being the only one who will take care of artifacts right. Would they get along? Would that similarity mean they'd step on each others' toes?

- Bill and Zan I think should have a beer together.

- Sybil and Jen would get along!!! I also think that Jen would get along with Samson from an alchemy perspective. Maybe not the sportsball one, but there's some character to be developed.

- crackfic prompt: rion and the monkey. shenanigans ensue.

This Showed Up On Accident In My Tags But Actually It Kinda Goes Hard So I Decided To Keep It

Includes: K-Pop Demon Hunters, World of Darkness

- Huntr/x as a group of Hunters in the World of Darkness would fucking SLAY. I would love to see them more down-to-earth. Maybe not as magical, but grounded. Firearms. Defenses on their base. Are they still pop stars, or have they pushed their careers to the side? And, would you use the demons as they're (very loosely) written in WoD? Or would they be fighting Kindred? The Sabbat? If you do go with them fighting Kindred, would Rumi be a thin-blood then? There's so much to explore!
